On Boxing Day, the club held a formal presentation of the new strip from sponsor Phil Yolland and his Urban Earth company to Robins officials.

Budleigh Football Club secretary Keith Wood said: “There’s a real feeling of a new era starting at Greenway Lane.

“After a period of uncertainty and confusion at the Lane it seems that the ‘mojo’ of the Robins has returned; a change in direction on and off the field has been really positive.

“Local football has become hugely expensive over the past few years and without sponsorship from the likes of System Six, RGB and now Urban Earth small local clubs such as ourselves would certainly struggle to survive and, for their support, we are extremely grateful.”

Budleigh return to action after the festive break with a Greenway Lane meeting with Brixham this Saturday (January 6). Kick-off is at 3pm.
