Exmouth Bridge Club success for Ewins and Howse

PUBLISHED: 09:51 20 April 2017 | UPDATED: 09:51 20 April 2017

The Exmouth Bridge Club played their Club Pairs championship, writes Carla Pickering.

Twenty-one pairs played in both parts of the competition, a necessary qualification, and the end results were mighty close.

Ann Ewins and Beryl Howse emerged at the top of the list with a score of 61.48 per cent.

That was fractionally better than the 61.35 per cent recorded by Dick Andrews and Gaynor Wiseman.

Not far behind, finishing third with a score of 60.45 per cent, were the pairing of Brian Hughes and Dawn Graham.
