There was a happy winner of our September competition.

Coinciding with the Herald’s fourth anniversary, we teamed up with the Cranberry Farm pub to offer a £50 voucher for a meal.

The question was: which pub chain opened Cranberry Farm? The answer, of course, was Hall and Woodhouse.

We had lots of correct entries, but first out of the hat was Faye Whitley from Cranbrook. She was utterly thrilled to win, telling us that she had never won a competition before.

She also told us that her partner’s birthday was coming up shortly, and that’s where the couple headed for a slap-up meal.

“We had a lovely time,” said a delighted Faye. “We are lucky to have such a nice pub on our doorstep!”

Congratulations to Faye, and many thanks to the Cranberry Farm for offering such a terrific prize.
