Each week we put together a gallery of readers’ pictures sent to us through our photo-sharing website iwitness24.

Take a look at the past week’s photos and if you would like to get involved and start seeing your pictures in print/online then join our community of local photographers at www.iwitness24.co.uk.

PHOTO CHALLENGE: Each week we set our readers a photo challenge to have a go at and our next challenge theme is ‘Summer Flowers’. We are looking for your best floral shots, taken anywhere from in and around East Devon. To enter go to www.iwitness24.co.uk and upload your images to the East Devon ‘Photo Challenge’ group and we’ll include them in an online gallery and possibly in print too. Deadline for entries is Friday, July 13.

Clean Street Exmouth was launched at the beginning of the year on a trial basis. The aim is to mobilise neighbours to jointly keep their street free of litter and to take a pride in their street. Anyone can 'adopt' their street: they are then given postcards to give or deliver to neighbours inviting them to join in. This brings neighbours together and it has been shown that people feel safer on litter-free streets and anti social behaviour is reduced. To date 15 streets have been adopted.
