Cranbrook Motorcycle Riders raised the cash through monthly bike-nights and other events across the year.

Phil Nevard, club treasurer, said: “We are proud to be associated with fundraising for the Devon Freewheelers.

“They are a fantastic local charity who make a huge and often unrecognised difference across Devon saving lives and saving money for the NHS.

“They give their time freely and we want to support them in every way we can.”

The club presented the Freewheelers with a cheque at a ‘Day of the Dead’ themed party at the Cranberry Farm pub in Cranbrook.

A cheque for £50 was also presented from the Cranbrook Computer Suite and Library – the money was raised from book donations.
