There was a lot of jolly-ho-ho last night when Father Christmas came to Cranbrook to turn on the Christmas lights.

Children flocked to see Santa, who arrived on his sleigh, courtesy of the Cranbrook District Rotary Club.

After the great man had arrived and started the town’s Christmas celebrations in style, there was plenty to see and do at the Christmas Market, which was running in the Younghayes Centre.

In addition, the Community Choir sang carols and festive songs in the foyer.

And a jolly good time was had by all...
