Brilliant photos entered for our iwitness24 photo challenge - By the Riverside. Have a look at our gallery of images sent in by our readers.

Last week we asked you to send us your best pictures of East Devon river scenes and we have seen some beautiful photos. Among the entries was an amazing capture by Debbie Mitchell of a beaver grooming itself on the River Otter. Debbie said: “I got up at silly o’clock to get to the riverbank at dawn, and I was so lucky to see one busy grooming, before disappearing off to bed.”

Photo challenge: Our latest challenge is ‘Signs of Autumn’. The golden colours of the new season have started to appear and now is the time to get out with a camera to capture them and all things autumnal.

Upload your East Devon autumn scenes to the East Devon ‘Photo Challenge’ group and we’ll put a gallery of pictures together next week.
