Looe Music Festival – the award-winning event that transforms the Cornish coast – is back at the end of September.

This year there are headlining sets from the Happy Mondays, Lulu and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

They are joined by Reverend and the Makers, Cast, The Undertones, Uncle Frank, Simmertones, The Membranes and The Dodge Brothers.

And we’ve got a pair of three-day adult tickets to give away, worth £218!

Every year, the festival transforms the beach, the harbour and the streets of the beautiful fishing port of Looe. Hosting performers and visitors from all over the world, the main stage is on the beach, but there is music everywhere.

Lulu. Lulu.

Running from September 29 to October 1, this year 90 bands will perform over the weekend. The line-up includes local, national and international acts covering acoustic, rock, hip hop, indie, funk and punk. You can expect an eclectic mix of high energy ‘keep you on the move’ music, delivered back-to-back from either end of the beach and around the harbour.

With BBC Music Introducing in Cornwall bringing the very best emerging talent, comedy performances and free workshops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

So plan your late summer break now. Take time off in Looe this September, join the fun, enjoy the coastline, sample local produce and watch the sun go down over Looe bay with music in your ears.

Looe Music Festival 2017 takes place from Friday, September 29, to Sunday, October 1. Tickets are £109 (adults), £30 (under 18s) and under fives go free. Day tickets from £40. For more information, including full 2017 line-up, accommodation options and bus transfers, see www.looemusic.co.uk, follow @Looemusicfest or visit www.facebook.com/looemusic.
